About Cooper Matthews Limited
Our Business
Cooper Matthews provides Business Debt Advice and solutions for small to medium size businesses with financial difficulties. Our experience ranges across both companies and sole traders with annual turnovers from £50k to £10m and beyond.
We do not focus on any one solution. Rather we provide a whole of market approach to help deliver the correct solution for your business ranging through the spectrum of Company Voluntary Arrangement, Phoenixing and Administration. It is always our focus to preserve a company where possible. However, where necessary or required we are also able to help you through the liquidation process.

Our Head Office is in Leeds, but we provide services to businesses across the whole of England and Wales including Cardiff, Bristol, Exeter and the West Country, London and the South East, Birmingham and the Midlands, Liverpool, Manchester and Yorkshire.
Because we operate independently working with a panel of Insolvency Practitioners across the UK, we are able to match your needs with an Insolvency Practitioner who is local to your area or has a specific knowledge of your business function.
Our Approach
We have an initial discussion with you over the telephone to understand the current position of your business and to offer advice about the possible solutions.
If it is appropriate to do so, we will then arrange to meet you face to face (either at your offices or ours). At this meeting we will decide the best way forward and agree the steps that need to be undertaken to put this in place. This meeting can be during the weekend if more convenient for you.
We will help you understand your own situation in terms of personal guarantees and directors responsibilities so that the decisions you make are good not only for your business, but you personally as well.
We will then provide constant support throughout the process. This means that at any time, you know you can take advice from us which is independent of the Insolvency Practitioner responsible for implementing the solution.

Anthony has over 10 years of experience in working with companies which are suffering from financial difficulties. During this time he has been involved with the turnaround of many businesses using solutions such as company voluntary arrangement (CVA), administration and pre pack liquidation.
With his experience of company turnaround, Anthony is able to make sure that the correct solution to save a business is implemented quickly.
